How do I submit a service request?

To submit a service request you can contact our service team at service@detectiontek.com or call our office at (720) 440-6222 to schedule an appointment.

How much does annual servicing cost?

Annual servicing for 2025 starts at $990 without shipping.

How often does the instrument need to be serviced?

The InstaScope needs to be calibrated and serviced once per year. We'll work with you to schedule a time for your InstaScope to come in, and our team typically needs about 5 working days to complete the annual servicing.

What does annual service and calibration entail?

- Visual inspection of the instrument that includes interior/exterior for any defects or deficiencies. - Verification of system functionality (airflow/timing, sizing, fluorescence, environmental sensors) - Adjustments to sizing/fluorescence calibration, calibrating environmental sensors, followed by validation testing of the instrument - Full inspection of the wand for damage - Full inspection of the purge filters for physical damage and functionality - Full instrument clean

What is a calibration certificate and how does this apply to my business?

Calibration certificates provide validity to the measurements the InstaScope takes. We issue a calibration certificate when we send you the InstaScope, and then we issue a new one when we perform annual service.

What is the warranty on the InstaScope?

The warranty is 180 days from the day you receive your instrument.
